We welcome Eaaswarkhanth Muthukrishnan to our team as a postdoctoral researcher, and congratulate him on all his achievements!
“Eaaswarkhanth was born and brought up in the southern part of India. He received his Ph.D. from the Life Sciences and Biotechnology Department at Jadavpur University in Kolkata, India specializing in human population genetics. He continued his research work as a postdoctoral fellow studying the genetic variation in several ethnic populations of India at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad in India. Further, he moved to the US to continue his postdoctoral studies at the Wadsworth Center of New York state department of health in Albany where he was involved in the genome-wide gene-environment interaction studies in the context of Parkinson’s disease. Later, he went to Doñana Biological Station in Seville, Spain and then to Qatar University in Qatar and continued his postdoctoral research work analyzing genomes of non-model organisms using next-generation sequencing technologies. Now, he is back in US and intending to study variation and adaptive significance of genomic structural variants in humans.”
Once again welcome Eaaswarkhanth! We look forward to working with you!
