GRS – Ecological and Evolutionary Genomics | Elucidating the Evolutionary Dynamics of Adaptation in Fluctuating Environments

July 12, 2025 - July 13, 2025

Charikleia, in collaboration with Joaquin C. B. Nunez (University of Vermont), will co-organize the upcoming Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) in Ecological and Evolutionary Genomics that will take place in Tuscany, Italy, Jul 12 – 13, 2025.

Seminar Description:
The Ecological and Evolutionary Genomics GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.

In addition to scientific symposia, the 2025 GRS will feature a mentor panel where senior scientists who attend the GRC will share and discuss advice with early-career GRS attendees.

Seminar details:
Gordon Research Seminars are 2-day meetings which take place on the Saturday and Sunday just prior to the start of the associated GRC.

Venue:
Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco
Via Giovanni Pascoli
Lucca (Barga), Lucca, Italy
