Extensive genomic and transcriptional diversity identified through massively parallel DNA and RNA sequencing of eighteen Korean individuals

I was involved in a project that investigated the variation among individuals at genomic and transcriptional level. The publication of this work in Nature Genetics, along with the anticipated publication of Vivian Cheung et al.’s  Science paper  regarding extensive RNA editing, add some complexity to the established “Central Dogma” of molecular genetics.  You can reach to abstract here

There is already some interesting debate around these findings. For a sample, you can read the blog posts in Genomes Unzipped and Nature.
